Total calories from Myfitnesspal and Fitbit Tracker too high

Hey! So I'm pretty new to Fitbit and it makes me a bit confused.

On a normal day, Myfitnesspal says I should eat 4587 calories. That can't be true?

I'm a 24-year-old male that weights 83kg, 183cm tall and have a pretty active job and I workout once a day at the evening lifting weights. My goal is to go up in muscle mass.

So Myfitnesspal says that I should get 3000 calories

And then the Fitbit Tracker adds up another 1577 calories. (Fitbit says I burned 3390 calories)

This can't be true? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there @Tobyy, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! Rest assure here in the Community you will find all the information necessary to start using your Fitbit and familiarized more with the app and its integrations.

The integration with MyFitnessPal is a great addition for your Fitbit Dashboard, however is a bit tricky in relation to calories, since MFP will give you a calorie adjustment. For more details, please review the following explanation of my friend @SilviaFitbit here: MyFitnessPal, Fitbit and Calorie Counting.

Hope this helps and stay tuned if you have more questions.
