Training using Fitbit Charge HR and heart rate zones.

I used to use Adidas myCoach to train when running outside. I bought the fitbit charge HR so I can track how my workouts are going based on HR and whether I need to push harder.

So far I have had issues with Fitbit and hr not being tracked properly during spinning, but it is something I am trying different band placements for.

The list of running apps compactible with fitbit is long and I have tried downloading a few. But I am wondering. Is there any app through which I can be coached using my fitbit heart rate reading to maintain it in a aerobic/fat burn zone. I don't want to be constantly checking how I am going every few minutes.

Otherwise I may have to buy adidas/nike watches or moov. 😞

Hey there @Vashi. Good to see you in the Community! 🙂

I don't use my tracker for tracking runs (I don't really run actually lol) but here you will find the list of apps that are partnered with Fitbit but I'm not really sure that Fitbit will transfer your heart rate over to any of those apps. You can take a look at the features that each offers (amongst the apps for tracking runs) to know more.

Let me know if you need anything else!
