Hello @Kim88evans, good to see you again in the Fitbit Community! Have you tried to revoke the access from MFP? I had a similar issue a few months ago and I was able to revoke the access by accessing directly to MFP.

1. Revoke the access from your Fitbit account in case the permission still is available on your application settings.

2. Go to http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps and look for the Fitbit app in the app gallery. Open the Fitbit integration and press Disconnect. Make sure you are logged in to your old MFP account.

3. If you are on a computer you can try as an additional step, clear the cache and cookies of your browser. Directions on how to clear your cache on a variety of browsers can be found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

4. Once you have done this, log in to your new MFP account and go back to http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps.

5. One more time, look for the Fitbit app and re-connect the integration.

This should do the trick, so give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Hi there @Kim88evans, sorry for the late response and thank you for the additional details, I'm wondering if the issue still persists?

To answer your question, yes it is possible to avoid MFP to revoke the access; which is through your Fitbit account by revoking the access in your application settings, however by doing this you are still experiencing the error that your account is already connected as you mentioned on your first post.

In this case my suggestion would be to approach to MyFitnessPal support for additional help from their end, in case you are still getting the same message of your account is already connected.

Let me know if you have more questions, I'll be around giving follow up.
