Unable to connect to other apps/devices after moving to Google Account

Hello all,

Here's the scenario:

I'm a long-time Fitbit user on iOS and so far I've had no issues with connecting the Fitbit app with other apps/devices.

Very recently when I bought a new Fitbit, I was prompted to migrate my Fitbit account to my Google account - which I did.

Now, when I try to connect any app/device to the Fitbit app on my iPhone, I am asked if I would like to connect the device to Fitbit. When I agree to it, I am taken to another screen where I am prompted to input my Fitbit email ID and password - and there's a note on the top which says "If you moved Fitbit to your Google account, choose Continue with Google".

The moment I choose the Google account, my iPhone automatically fills in my username/password and attempts to link both apps - but in just a few seconds the screen reverts to the Fitbit login screen and the 2 devices are not connected.

I've had this happen with my Ultrahuman (Ring) account as well as my Renpho (Weighing Scale) Health account.

Can someone please let me know how to get this to work?
