When I try to link my fitbit account with Healthvault I get an error - "Fitbit is not available in this persons location"
I'm in the UK, both Fitbit and Healthvault accounts have UK as my location.
What's up?

Hi there @pcsupport. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂
This is a strange situation as I've not heard of other users having problems connecting these two services. I'm not sure if the fact that you're located in UK makes a difference which should not but what I can suggest in this case is to try to change your Fitbit account locale to US. After you have changed it, try to link it to HealthVault again and see if it goes through. For changing the locale of your account, go to the lower right corner, click on UK and from the Region page, choose US. It should look as follows:
Hope this helps and please let me know if you need more help with this! Good luck! 😄

I this an error you are getting on Fitbit's end or on HealthVault's end? If it's with them, I would recommend getting in touch with their Support Team at least just to see if there is maybe something going on on their end because as far as I know, this is not a known problem on our end. Let me know if they can confirm anything @pcsupport!

The error occurs when I try to link TO Heathvault FROM the Fitbit website.
The only thing can think of is that my Surge isn't one of the listed Fitbit devices on the Healthvault website.
Here is the error message I get: http://1drv.ms/1VeLPWM

@pcsupport Hi! I just verified the list of the compatible apps and HealthVault is no longer listed there not sure why. I will follow up on this and see why is this and as soon as I have any news, I'll be sure to let you know!

Any progress on this? I just signed up for HealthVault and was eager to add my fitbit data, only I don't see it on the list of apps.

Hi there @lclarke522. Welcome to the Forums! I'm not completely sure on how it works on HealthVault's end but you can take a look at this link that might help you.

It still doesn't help me and my UK account though.
When are UK connections going to be fixed? According to the link posted those question where asked back in 2012 / 2013. It is now nearly 2016.

Thanks for getting back @pcsupport. The link I provided was just for the process of linking HealthVault to Fitbit but when it comes to the compatibility, I still don't have any news on this. I'll check with our team again to see if there is any progress on it.
