The weight scale app Fitdays has a Fitbit integration. When I activate it, it takes me to the Google login for Fitbit. Then Google says I can't login from an incompatible browser or unknown app. Has Fitbit given up 3rd party integrations with the Google login?
Can I switch back to my Fitbit account?
They should warn about this. I only recently bought a new Fitbit . Last one i had was years ago and i gave up on it do to it breaking. But I like the device and its app so thought to try it again. Then I only bought the bluetooth scale as it was listed in reviews as best to integrate with Fitbit. Fitbit - please stop driving this customer away. I'll probably go back to my clunky Samsung watch and return my Fitbit unless there is a workaround.

There is no browser involved, it’s apps on Android. Yes, I can log in to Google. I am logged in to the Fitbit app using the Google login.
The Fitdays app is on an Android Samsung Galaxy phone to auto-store scale data. Fitdays has selections to connect to Fitbit, Samsung Health and Google Fit. Both Samsung Health and Google Fit work seamlessly. When I select the Fitbit connection, it takes me to the Fitbit login page which requires my Google login (since I changed my Fitbit login to Google a few weeks ago). This photo shows what it returns when I enter my Google email. It seems Google isn’t allowing the app, although Fitdays works fine with Google Fit.
I figured out some data from the scale can go from Fitdays to Google Fit, and the data from Fitbit can go to Google Fit as well. But the data doesn’t go back to Fitbit so I have to add the scale data manually to Fitbit. Is it possible for selectable data to be read by Fitbit from Google Fit or Samsung Health? This would be a work around.
I’m being discouraged from using the Fitbit app as I can only see all the data in Google Fit. This is why I’m tempted to just go back to my Samsung watch and Samsung Health, however clunky the watch is size-wise. It doesn’t seem like a good business decision on the part of Fitbit, especially since other posts discuss that, with the Google login, it is no longer possible to connect Fitbit to the United Healthcare app either.

What does the previous screen look like? Can you post a screen shot?
Yes what you are doing will fail, because you are no longer logging into fitbit with an email address, but logging in through your Google account.
