Unable to sync Google Fit data to Fitbit

Hi I have tried all the steps to get Google Fit data on Fitbit app but still it refuses to write.  I have connected Health Connect and agreed to all access requests.  I have restarted apps, re-started phone etc but still it doesn't work

Can anybody recommend anything else to try or give up with Fitbit?

Hi everyone, and thank you for being a part of this amazing community! Let's give a warm welcome to all the new users!

As mentioned before, the Fitbit app is currently only capable of sending information to other apps. However, you can use Health Connect as a bridge between apps, such as Google Fit, to provide a simple way to connect and sync your favorite health and fitness apps.

In Health Connect the Google Fit app can be set to both read and write your data.

Fitbit, at the moment, can only write data. It can't pull in data from Google Fit.

FitToFit is the best app to sync between Google Fit and Fitbit. You'll love it.

Is there any progress on this? I don't understand why Fitbit won't sync with Google Fit.

@EstuardoFitbit is there any plan / ongoing development to not only allow the Fitbit app to write data to Health Connect (confirming this works fine for me), but also to read (=import) data from e.g. Google Fit, via Health Connect? Currently, I can only see the Fitbit app writing information to Health Connect. However, other than Google Fit, which is adopting the information that the Fitbit app is writing into Health Connect, the Fitbit app isn't adopting any information written by other apps, e.g. Google Fit. Hence, the sync is only working one way at the moment and I'd love to see it syncing in both directions. Thank you very much in advance for your feedback!

Hello @EstuardoFitbit ,

for the purpose would you like to reopen the related feature request (wrongly closed by @LizzyFitbit )as it's up to Fitbit to implement the synchornization with Health Connect and not the third party (ironically Google!).
