Versa 2 not syncing correctly to Stepbet app

I started a Stepbet challenge/game and this is the 2rd day that it is not syncing correctly with my Versa 2 and Fitbit app.

The Fitbit app and tracker for example will both read 10,015 but when I sync the Stepbet app it will say 10,021.

The 1st day of was more by like 96 steps.

Can anyone please help me figure out why and fix this issue?
