I am trying to connect my Greater Goods Weight Gurus account to my Fitbit account but each time I attempt to setup the integration I receive the following error message in a loop:
"Sorry, it looks like something went wrong. You can go back to the Weight Gurus app to try again"
I'd be grateful for any support

I’ve been having the same issue for six days, starting 10/7/2025. Same message, repeatedly.

Same issue and same timeframe for me too, I submitted a help ticket to Weight Gurus team with a link to this forum to let them know its an issue impacting a wider user base than just me.

Same here. Weight suddenly stopped syncing that day and the integration fails now.

I also wrote to Weight Gurus support and the sent this back:
"I'm sorry for the trouble and thanks for your patience! Our technical team is currently working on resolving the issue."

Same issue for me. I hope they fix it soon! I’ll contact Weight Gurus, too.

Same here since 10/7. Glad I'm not the only one, hoping they fix things soon.

Same issue, same time frame. Other Fitbit functionality lost at same time (ie. sleep stage graph no longer refreshes). Likely a Fitbit issue, not Greater Goods / Weight Gurus. Anybody know if Fitbit pushed an update around that time?

I've made a ticket and I think someone else on this thread has made a ticket the to weight gurus. I don't see a way to track the ticket on their end for a status. I think Fitbit/Google made a change on their end. Since a few other apps crapped out about the same time.

I'm having the same trouble. I experienced this a few months back and was able to get it to reconnect based on a phone call with the Weight Gurus help desk but I don't remember what I did, I don't remember what I need to do. I have uninstalled both apps rebooted my phone as in turning it off not just restart and attempted to reconnect again and I still can't do it. I'm getting exactly the same connection error message please help.

Having the same issue as well. I uninstalled & reinstalled both apps, cleared their caches, etc. No luck. Reached out to both Weight Gurus & Fitbit. Didn't really do much other than to tell me to wait for my Fitbit app to get the lastest update & reach back out of it's still an issue. Update isn't showing as available yet for me so now just waiting. They said the rollout should be completed by October 29th.
Update: The October 29th update did not solve the issue for me. Reached back out to Fitbit & they said investigating further with a higher team.

Thank you for posting this question and for everyone who replied. I am having the same issue and was going crazy trying to figure out how to reconnect the apps. Hopefully they do put a patch out on October 29.

Ok glad I'm not the only one having this issue, also health connect doesn't sync over to Fitbit for the scale either.
