HI, I just synced my flex to MFP.. My calorie burned goals in 2700(NOT THE DEFICIT, IT"S THE OVERRALL CALORIE BURNED GOALS). and as per my dashboard i burnt 2800 yesterday in the whole day.
As per instructuons if you log food on MFP it will auto sync with the Flex, I expected the same with calories as well
BUT THE Fitbit Calorie Adjustment row in my MFP dashboard says just 290!!!:(,
I dout i will ver lose weight.
Also guys please let me know a good and healthy calorie math ( like how much my calorie adjustment shpould be) to lose weight. I dont want to be doing it all and be disappoined at the end saying am stuck at 186! My spirits were up when I only used the flex because the " hoorays" i get in the dashboard felt awesome. The MFP calories adjustment is kinda slapping me on my face and asking me to shut up.
Love from Minnesota.

The adjustment in MFP shows the calories in excess of what MFP was expecting. You can also make a settings change in MFP that allows fitbit to send negative adjustments for those times that you burn less calories than expected.
To be accurate the settings in both fitbit and MFP for weight etc and for weight loss targets need to be the same. This way they both have the same expected level of calorie burn.
In terms of weight loss, as a guide for every 3500 calories that you eat less than you burn you should lose around 1 pound. That equates to a calorie deficit of 500 per day to lose 1 pound per week.
