What is going to change with Fitstar becoming Fitbit Coach?

So after the announcement, I'm curious about a few things.

  1. Is this just a rebranding or a bigger change?
  2. Will active subscriptions still remain, or will they go away?
  3. What exactly is going to change from the perspective of a regular user?  Right now I like the app's features as it is.
  4. Will there finally be a calorie-sync between Fitbit Coach and my Fitbit Device? Right now tracking workouts on Fitstar and my Charge 2 give different calorie readings and I am having to delete my Fitstar workouts every time.

@rohanshankarx12, I'm afraid all we know is what is in the announcement. We will all have to stay tuned. I'm sure more details will be revealed as we get closer to the October release. It will definitely be more than just a rebranding.

I am a little disappointed in my purchase of fitbit coach today October 19 at about 9:30 am CST. I was looking for some support with my treadmill workout and ran across audio treadmill workout in the app, I had to purchase first so I did. Hoping to try the audio out with my treadmill work out this morning. I clicked on the one that I thought fit my skill level, but it wouldn't work. I called fitbit support was on the telephone with support for 54 minutes only to be told this issues had to be escalated up higher. I asked for a refund due to I was hoping to use the product now and didn't expect to be met with all of these challenges. The money left my chase account immediately, but I don't get the product and services of the product that was offered. I want a full refund asap. Thomas advised that he wasn't able to authorized a refund. However, he would escalate this issue right away. I am now looking for the cooperate telephone number to talk with someone in the CEO office or the CEO. I am truly dissatisfied and feel like I was just robbed for $39.99.
