Where to log a workout? MFP or Fitbit?

Hi I know this has been asked a few times, I'm just getting my fit bit and want to make sure I'm being as accurate as possible. Just looking at a workout such as a fitness class, not walking or running.
Should I wear my band while doing the workout?
Should I log the workout on MFP for Fitbit app for best accuracy? I don't want to overestimate. I'm getting the new alta if that helps.
Any advice to make sure I'm being as accurate as possible! I'm going to be using MFP for my food intake.

You can certainly still wear your tracker during the workout, that will give you the steps you otherwise wouldn't get. You should track the workouts through MFP. That will transfer over to Fitbit and overwrite the calories you got from wearing (or not wearing) your tracker.
