Will not connect to Peloton

I have had the Peloton for years and the The Charge 6 for at least a year.

In the last few months the Fitbit has stopped connecting to the Peloton.

I have factory reset bike, updated and done all the things to fix Fitbit and nothing. For a while it would reconect>disconnet>reconnect repeatedly throughout a ride. Now it won't connect. I see hat this has been a noted problem for many users but there is very little solution from Fitbit. The Charge connects fine to iPhone though I have to manually connect throughout the day. 

Please advise.
