iPhone FitBit double (and triple) counting MyFitnessPal Calories

This problem began several days ago when my iPhone FitBit app updated itself while the app was running in the background. This is the v2.12 update release 7/30/2015.

Since then the FitBit app will periodically add multiple entries for Meal Names, see pic below. I have one entry for each addition of food instead of a single entry updating itself. The correct amount is 230 (not 470). I can delete the duplicate entries. Is this happening to anyone else? I am going to uninstall and reinstall to see if  that fixes it.

It is happening to me, also.  Uninstalling and reinstalling has not helped. I just keep deleting the duplicates until this issue is resolved.

It appears to be caused by an automatic sync occuring while I am making entries for a meal. If I get it all entered fast enough, no duplicate. Slower entry and one or more duplicate entries are posting as they accumulate for a particular meal.

I'm still having this issue. I'm doing what NancyFL does too and just deleting the innacurate ones from each meal. I also notice it sees to happen when I enter additional food in for a meal I already have food in for. If I add it all at once it doesn't seem to happen. Hopefully this is fixed soon, it never use to happen. I only use MFP strictly for food entry to carry over to fitbit.
