If I'm trying to track a bike ride & use fitbit & myfitness, which one should I enter it in? Will it sync?

Thanks for any help.

Hi there @SunsetRunner, Thanks for stopping by and let me give you my insight for this. Usually I think MyFitnessPal is better for food logging. In my personal use, this is what I do. All my food intake is logged though MFP and all the exercise are logged through my Fitbit account. In my case I use the Fitbit Surge to track biking activities and once I finished, this are synced directly to my account with no hassle.

If you have other tracker type, note that does not support cycling exercise, so the best is to log a manual activity on your Fitbit account to improve the accuracy of this activity's contribution to your caloric burn.

Is not that MFP is not great logging activities, but sometimes the exercise can crossed with Fitbit activities and can duplicate your numbers. So is just matter how comfortable you feel using the two accounts. There is no big difference as logging exercise, just careful not to log activities that can cross the time of those logged either on MFP or Fitbit.

Let me know how it goes and catch ya later.
