I use Map my Fitness when I walk/run/bike ride. I have been on 2 walks - 4 and 5 miles. Map my Fitness works on GPS and I believe is quite accurate. However, my flex always seems to be off by more then a mile with tracking the distance. How can this be corrected?

Fitbit estimates distance based on the number of steps you take and your stride length. The default stride may not be accurate for you and you might want to consider adjusting it: stride
