I have had fitbits for years and always worked with numi. My latest charge 6 was working fine. Now I have to disconnect fitbit and reconnect it in order to get it to sync. What has changed. The only thing I have done is at some point I went from email sign in to google sign in because it was going to be a force anyway. I don't remember if this issue started at that point or not. However it is a pit to disconnect and reconnect every day to sync the 2 apps.

According to the Fitbit Status Dashboard website, a service disruption for the Web API occurred on 30 Aug 2024. The description of the service disruption states "Some users may notice data discrepancies or syncing issues between 3P apps and Fitbit. Our team is currently investigating the root cause of the issue."
I saw a Moderator post yesterday (12 Sep 2024) acknowledging the syncing issues and data transfer errors. He said that the team is working on identifying a resolution as quickly as possible.
For now, there's nothing more that we can do on our side to fix the problem. As frustrating as this is for all of us, we have to wait until the fix is rolled out.
