can the myfitnesspal app not sync with the versa?  i can't even find the app on my list

MFP will sync with fitbit, regardless of the device.  I used it no problem with my blaze and am using it now with my versa.

MFP does not have an app on the unit. It is a third party program that links and syncs with your Fitbit database. What you need to do is go to the MFP website (assuming you have an account, if not you can create one free of charge) and then go to the apps and find Fitbit then give it your Fitbit login information. It will then link up with your Fitbit account.
