I wear my Fitbit all day, especially when golfing using a cart.  Am I correct that Fitbit switches to GPS snd therefore Fitbit tracks  cart movement as steps?

Hi @ancel1956 -  steps are measured by arm movements or vibrations. So if you are getting extra steps it's because of vibrations possibly.

Some people experience steps when driving and choose driving as an exercise to get a more accurate count. It is also possible it doesn't  count steps when pushing a shopping trolley.
