I have purchased the versa 4 for my T1 diabetic child (10 years old) as it can link to the blood glucose readings.
I cannot find a way to add this to a child's Google account within the fitbit app. Only 'Ace' models available (also fitbit ace app not available in UK!)
No mention anywhere when purchasing the watch through Amazon.co.uk that it cannot be used for a childs google account.
Has anyone been able to make this work without removing the child's account/parental controls from their phone?

Hello @Adymc21 and welcome to the Community. I'm sorry, but the Versa 4 won't work for your child for several insurmountable reasons:
Sorry to be so full of bad news. I agree with you that Fitbit/Google are not transparent enough about age limitations for their devices.

Many thanks for your prompt and comprehensive reply.
I altered my daughters age in her profile and after a few days was able to update the fitbit app to the adult version.
The Glance clockface is working and the additional vibrating alarms via her fitbit are a comfort. In some loud and busy environments you can easily miss the phone alerts.
