Agenda app on Versa 4 promo

I think I saw the top of the Agenda app in one of the Versa 4 promo videos.   It must have been made before the decision to pull third party apps.  Does anyone else have information about this?

I don’t recall seeing a V4 promo video, so can’t comment on that. 

 

Regarding features, that is a question for the Fitbit product managers and what their motivation was to release the V4 without those features. Everything else we may state is opinion, not necessarily fact. Hopefully the product managers hear the voices in the forum and get the developers to add the missing features back. Having a roadmap for the missing features would be most helpful as well so we know when to expect them.

 

Jonathan Oakes is the SVP of products at Fitbit. Hopefully someone is sending him information on the disappointment of customers on the missing features.

Maybe someone like you who works for Fitbit can let Mr. Oakes know on behalf of fellow mislead Fitbit users.

I don't work for Fitbit, I'm simple a fellow fitbit user, who also happens to be a Made by Google Product Expert.

By the way no need to look for a promotional video, the false advertising is currently in the store page

@Dopovo do you have a better expkaination as to why? Saying that it is false advertisement doesn't explain why we don't have the option.

Hi, Please accept my apology for implying you work for Fitbit, it was my error.  I thought your response to my post was kind and thus voted it as the best answer.  We need a little more kindness in this world, especially when so many of us have been disappointed by the Versa 4.  But I could retract that vote, if it can be done and if you suggest it.

No worries @AuntieKim , I am as frustrated with the state of the Versa 4 as everyone. Having been through many Fitbit products with their own idiosyncratic behaviours, this is not the first time Fitbit has failed horribly at communicating. Simply being up front about feature sets and expected dates when new ones will be added would solve many concerns and help with the disappointment we all feel.

 

The best thing we can do for now is open feature requests, get people to vote for them, and then hopefully they will implement them. One can only hope...

Oh yeah @Rich_Laue I have an explanation: Fitbit for the launch of Sense 2 / Versa 4 made its best to show how much disorganized is among all its departments, support and moderators included.
