Anyone had a positive solution to the recent Versa 4 Global issue??

I posted into this forum a few weeks back about my experience with my Versa4. I have also seen many posts from others with the same issue, with further comments in those threads from even more users experiencing the same problem.

The problem: Since the last firmware update my Versa4 switches off when the battery gets to 80%, and will not power up again until it makes contact with the charger. Once it has restarted it will show a healthy battery but will shortly power down and go into a reboot loop. The only way to stop this reboot loop is to connect it to the charger and force a full reset and firmware update.... and the process just repeats infinitum.

I haven't received a response from a "Fit-Bit Moderator" to my original post, but I'm sure if I did it would be the copy and paste reply that others with the same problem have received. I've tried contacting Fit-Bit via their support page, which turns out to be a Google Support Page and keeps asking me which Google device do I need help with, with only Google branded devices available in the drop down.

So????? Has anyone received a working solution to what appears to be a global Versa 4 problem???

I'm also in the same boat - exactly the same issue as you described.

I must have Factory Reset the device 3-4 times so far, uninstalled the app from the phone to no avail.

It's definitely the firmware update that's broken the device, it had been working perfectly until the update was applied.

I can't believe that no one in the Tech Industry Media hasn't picked up on this issue so far, there must be literally thousands of users affected?

Same issue here. Watch goes into endless loop. Thought I fixed it with factory reset, but happened again the next day.

My Versa4 has been buggy for a little while. It goes into activity mode nearly once a day, then yesterday it reset itself to factory settings.

when trying to get passed the initial screen it automatically wants to select Deutsch for my language. Very frustrating

Hi @Nidgee. I've been having the same problem with my Versa 4. I thought it was because I got it wet over the weekend or my watch face was crashing because the rotating pictures were draining my battery.

I was able to find a solution on YouTube that worked for me.

Try the tips in this YouTube video that I found very helpful. If it doesn't work, go to the comments section (I've included the link). It gives a better way of resetting the Versa 4 to its factory default. It worked for me when nothing else did. Good luck.
