Why does the fitbit app display on my phone look like the website dashboard and not the app that everyone else has?

I've deleted and reinstalled the app, but it is still the same

Hello there @JMash67, welcome to the Fitbit Community. 

Although it is possible to access the online dashboard on a mobile device, you will need to make sure the app is from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Please note that there are certain devices that are not compatible with the Fitbit app. You can find a list of compatible devices here.

@JMash67 If you are looking on the Google play store, there is an app that people have been mistaking for Fitbit. Please make sure you are using the app that says Fitbit. See my screenshot below:
