Can someone please clarify whether this feature should work on a Versa 4? Is this a manual log or automatic? I've been wearing mine for two weeks now and it still says it's calculating my baseline.
I've spoken to Fitbit via Chat twice but they just send me a link to what a baseline temperature is. That's not helpful! Can anyone please help me understand how to make this feature work? Thanks

Like it says right there on-screen "We first calculate your baseline skin temperature with up to 30 nights of data."

I'm not sure your response needed to be quite so aggressive. I'm genuinely confused and despite reading all of the text you so helpfully circled several times, it's still not clear! Why say we should wear the watch for 3 days to calculate the baseline temperature if actually it's 30 days? Also, the phrase 'up to 30 days of data' does not imply the first reading takes this long.
I've spent 2 weeks trying to figure it out and my question was to clarify if the feature was actually available on Versa 4.
I will continue to wear my Fitbit in the hope that after 30 days it starts to provide data, however my gut feeling is that it won't. If it still doesn't work, I'm not sure I'll risk posting here again for fear of being chastised!!

@Losrios Welcome to the Fitbit community!
A complex device as the Versa 4 needs to become acquainted with the person who's wearing it to deliver reliable data and evaluations. One example for this is skin temperature or, to be more precise, the variability of your skin temperature. This is measured while you're sleeping because you body then is resting. Later it will then be used to give you a warning whenever there might be an infection.
And that's one point where every person is different. So different persons should give their devices different periods of time to give them the opportunity to "study" their users to the necessary extend.
In case you really have gotten a defective device, you can always contact Fitbit support to get further assistance:

I have been using this device for about 3 weeks and have the same issue, I can see skin temp in health metrics but it says no baseline yet on the temperature section. The message to wear the device for 3+ nights and then not show anything is confusing.

Same here - can see my temp in Health Metrics but does not show anything on the temp tile - very weird! Hopefully someone will respond on this

Thank you for your response. I'll continue to wear the device until the 30 days has passed and then reach out to Fitbit support again if the data is still missing. Based on the responses to my post, I'm not alone in having this issue. If 30 days data really is required, it would be helpful for Fitbit to update the text in the app that says 3 days. I'm sure it would reduce the amount of queries Fitbit receive!
Fingers crossed my Versa 4 sorts itself out soon.

@Losrios, @tanjid, @Chrisld60 I've been wearing my Versa 4 for five days (and nights) right now. And the Fitbit app still tells me to wear my device for three nights to be able to calculate the temperature baseline.
Let's just report among ourselves how this baseline temperature adaptation is going on! Being it very unlikely that all of us have defective units, it might be a software issue that can be fixed.

It is still not working, I have been wearing the watch for more than 30 days

Sadly there seem to be software issues concerning temperature baseline. The temperature sensor of the Versa 4 though obviously is working as the device is measuring temperature variations during sleep and tracking those in the Health Metrics tile of the Fitbit app.

Agree it’s just annoying that the tile isn’t working properly

I hear you! Fitbit customer service is the worst I've experienced. They just read out of the manual, they don't know anything more then what you can find by googling.

Even on health metrics it only shows variability

There are many threads on this. It's been reported to Fitbit. Obviously a bug. Waiting for a fix.
