I just received a brand new Versa 4. I am using the charging cord received with the watch. It has been on the charge for 2 hours (at least). I have tried to reset the watch by holding the button until the logo appears & then releasing the button. When I do this the watch flashes the logo (background alternates blue and black), then a red "X" appears on the screen. The Red "X" disappears and the logo shows on the screen again for a few minutes. Pushing the button or tapping the screen does not get anything to display.
I tried to see if I could get it to sync to my phone through the app but the app wants to send a 4 digit code to the watch which I can't see. So I can't get the new Versa 4 synced to my phone.
I have a Versa 2 that I am replacing so I am very familiar with the features functions of the Fitbit app & watch.
Please help

Fitbit is making me jump through all kinds of hoops. My Versa 4 was new Feb. 25, 2025. Its doing everything you described and overheating. They were supposed to send me a postage email for me to send the device back. One Fitbit Rep said up to 10 days to receive the email. One Fitbit Rep said today or tomorrow. The Rep also said be prepared to not receive the new device for 30 to 60 days. This Versa 4 has been the WORST fitbit I ever had. I'm going to get it repaired but then who knows what. I have a new SmartWatch ordered already. My Fitbit days are over.
