Brand new Versa 4 isn't charging

My brand new Versa 4 wouldn’t sync right out of the box. So went to charge it and battery just dropped instead and now won’t go past 2%

This is a very uncommon thing to happen, but there are some steps we can take to get this resolved. First, let's try restarting your watch; you only need to keep the device button pressed for about 10 seconds. As this is a new device, please make sure that you removed the plastic protective cover from the back of the device.
