I tried restarting my Fitbit Watch, restarting phone, clearing Fitbit App cache, managing 3rd party apps & adding Google, literally tried everything and I still get the message "can't connect to Google Wallet". Very disappointing as this is the reason why I purchased the watch. I would welcome any help with this.

The same for me. It connects to my google wallet but will only load 2 of the cards on there. It says that my AMEX card is unsupported, when it's not. I've manged to get 2 of my cards in the wallet working, but not the others. This was the main reason I upgraded to the Versa 4, doh!

I have successfully added my capital one card on Fitbit pay after calling the bank…but I wanted google wallet for a couple of other cards that were not on Fitbit pay. I switched watches with my wife to completely clear memory… added the cards again…had to call the bank to activate the cards on google wallet. I had to call them a few times to get someone who understood the problem…once they activated the cards I force stopped the Fitbit app…when I reopened it. Both of the cards were successfully on Fitbit wallet and I have used it to pay for gas successfully… but now I’m having problems getting verification on the capital one card… am waiting until the update goes through to call them again. My point is the problem typically lies with the bank.

Unfortunately, the issue lies within Google Wallet. Versa 4 doesn't have Fit Pay.

Fitbit 4 does have Fitbit pay if you do it right. After a factory reset with the 184.52 operating system, the default wallet on the watch is Fitbit pay. If you clear the watch from the app…clear the memory on the app…then factory reset…then open the wallet from the watch first you will see Fitbit pay…click on that to add your cards and you will be back to Fitbit pay…if you do it on the app first it will convert to google wallet.

After about an hour of trying... this did NOT work. I followed the steps carefully... removed the watch from the app, cleared cache and app data, reset, etc.
It needed to update after reset, then charge, then when I clicked the wallet icon on the watch it just did the exact same thing as before.
Another hour wasted on this device.
If I didn't need it for work, I would trash it and go back to the versa 3.

Here is the problem, Fitbit doesn't put effort into anything features they add to the Sense 2 and Versa 4. If they put in effort, their watches might even beat the Apple Watches.

How did you get wallet to work?
I haven't had any luck.
I just upgraded from versa 2 to versa 4 one week ago because the battery life was starting to become a problem (charging daily) and was thinking that it was time for upgrade. Battery life on the new one is great. Can't reply to texts with voice, and can't set up wallet at all. I keep hoping it will just start working at some point.

Really disappointing. Updated from Versa 2 to versa 4 and didn't realize I'd LOSE FEATURES with the new model. Now not even being able to use my wallet makes me not wanting to ever get another fitbit product. Already cancelled my subscription
