I literally just bought this today, and no matter how long I wait, reset everything, or clear my Bluetooth history, I can't even begin to connect to my new watch. It doesn't even work as a watch right now, what do I do?

Sad to hear that you're having an issue getting started with new your Versa 4.
From what you've mentioned, I think the best is doing a factory reset on your device and set it up from scratch.
To factory reset your Versa 4, first keep it's button pressed for around 10 seconds until you'll see the Fitbit logo flashing on it's display. Then release the button and immediately keep pressing it again until there's a circle around the Fitbit logo. Now release the button and wait until your device has restarted.
