Can't install a clock face I created for my Versa 3 now on my Versa 4

I'm trying to install a clock face I made for my Versa 3. This worked with that model but I can't get USB debugging to work on Versa 4.

I connect the cable to my PC. In watch settings I go to the option for USB debugging, it says cable connected but when I turn on the switch for debugging I am presented with a yes/no dialog. If I select Yes the screen just turns off. It does not restart as is stated in the option screen.

Is anyone else able to install anything via Fitbit Studio?

Fitbit has yet to announce arrangements for developing on the new devices.

And when do you think they will be bothered to do that? It's already released, developers should be able to write software for these.

@Catworx It's been reported here (and other places) that Fitbit doesn't plan to add support for 3rd party apps.

"We asked Fitbit if there are any plans to bring third-party apps to the Sense 2. It told us, “we will only have first-party tiles available on [the Sense 2] at this time.” That doesn’t guarantee other apps won’t ever be available, but it certainly sounds like they won’t.".

Thanks for your reply but why is it I can install 3rd party clock faces? That is all I am trying to do...

It appears Fitbit arbitrarily took some of the existing clockfaces developed by 3rd parties and ported them to the newest flagships, without informing the respective authors. This means that if there some bugs the authors 1) don't even know what's happening 2) they can't fix them.

WOW. That is just WRONG.

I've become so disappointed in this device the few days I've had it. GPS is certainly problematic and the UX is just bad. I've asked about returns from the store I got it from. Doubt I'll go with Fitbit ever again.
