Can’t log in to the Fitbit app after upgrading my phone

I recently upgraded my iPhone to another iPhone. 
Fitbit data didn’t transfer. 
Now I can’t sign into the account. 
I tried to change my Fitbit PW several times. Sent “change password “ message from the Fitbit app to my Google email address to ask for change link. The message does not get delivered to my Gmail account from the Fitbit app. 

I need help. 

Other messages from my iPhone get delivered to my email account. Fitbit generated emails get delivered the to my gmail account.
