Can't read notifications on my Versa 4

I'm synched.  I get text message notifications.  I tap read and "reply sent" pops up and no text.

This is a problem others have noted, but there's no answer from the Fitbit techs on this.

Please help.

Hi @Jump-Jet - if you are getting link sent on your watch, didi you turn on the preview messages in your message settings on your phone, (not in the Fitbit app)? That may help.

Hi there, @Jump-Jet. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for taking the time to find the answer to your issue before posting here. I'm sorry to hear that you cannot read your text messages on your Versa 4. We're here to help you! 

As @Guy_ has mentioned, have you checked if the "Preview Messages" have been enabled? If you have an Android phone, then you need to change a setting in your message app to enable the preview of the message. If you haven't done so yet, try the following:

1. Open your "Messages" app on your Android device.
2. Go to "Settings."
3. Click on "Notifications."
4. Make sure there is a check mark next to "Preview Message"
