With new app (the major September one) my Versa 4 won’t show me the time while I’m running. It won’t swipe to show the clock face, and if I press side button it asks if I want to end the exercise.
i just want my watch to tell me what time it is. What am I doing wrong?

@umbrellaman If you are starting your run by choosing from the top three icons on the Exercise tile on the screen, you can't adjust any of the settings. These are Quick Start shortcuts. The quick start shortcuts use your saved settings. You might be familiar with some of the information in the explanation below the screenshot. I made it detailed to help others with the same question.
Your Versa 4 shows a top, middle, and bottom stat when you use the Exercise app. The Run shortcut has distance as the default top stat and elapsed time as the default bottom stat. You scroll through various middle stats by tapping or swiping the screen. The current time is one of the middle stats, but you can customize your screen to make it the top or bottom stat. To do this from your screen, you must choose All, then Run. Now you can swipe up in the tiny "^" at the bottom of the screen to get to the Settings. Swipe up to the Show Stats section to customize your stats. I put mine as my bottom stat.

Hi @umbrellaman - when you select run on the watch scroll the face up to set what you want to see and it to do before starting.

Thanks. I followed instructions to put “time of day” in the settings. Out on the run, though, same display of run time. No way to scroll or tap to see a clock.

Thank you. A bit complicated, especially needing the tiny down arrow, but now I can swipe to see a time of day.
