Can't set up Alexa on my Versa 4

Hi,

 

What could be the reason that my Alexa isnt showing up in the fitbit versa 4 app. In YouTube videos i see that when people go to the place where it should be visible it is t visible for me.

Could it be because I have a Iphone SE 2022 and it had only siri build in? 
Or should it be visible in the fitbit app when I download the alexa app… 

 

i cannot find the answer…

Hi, 

I have the problem too. I think it's not because you have an iphone. It should work with every type of phone. A few days ago it worked for me. It's strange.

Hi there, @Deniiiiiise. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out.

As a first approach, note that you can have only 1 active voice assistant at a time. To switch to a different voice assistant, first disconnect your active voice assistant. For more information, see How do I disconnect my voice assistant?

With that being said, please confirm if you were able to follow the steps below:

1.Go to  http://alexa.amazon.com
2.Sign-in or create a new amazon account
2.Find the Fitbit Skill.
3.Click or tap Enable.
4.Log in using your Fitbit account credentials and give permission for the Alexa app to access your profile and data.

On the app follow these steps:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Amazon Alexa > Login with Amazon.
  3. Tap Get Started.
  4. Log in to your Amazon account or create one if necessary.
  5. Read about what Alexa can do, and tap Close to return to your device settings in the Fitbit app.

Hi,

First, this is what I see in the fitbit app. Therefore I cannot delete any
voice assistant. On my iphone I can only find Siri but I do not see an
option to delete Siri. Therefore seems like Siri is stuck on mu phone (but
deactivated) but nothing appears in my fitbit app.

When im in the alexa app, i can see the option of smartwatch. But its
loading forever when searching for devices. Fitbit versa 4 is not showing
up. Im really wondering why it seems like alexa is not possible on an
iphone SE 2022.

It's not because you have an iphone. I have an Android and I doesn't see too the Amazon Alexa button.

Go to profile and app settings and try switching the country to USA or United kingdom because Alexa aren't working in every country (I'm in Hungary) I didn't see and switched country and now it's working.
