Can't set up WhatsApp notifications on my Versa 4

I’ve recently bought a Fitbit versa4 and I’m having difficulty setting up WhatsApp notifications. I’ve all the notifications turned on which o should have (I think) and share system notifications is on too but I’m still not receiving any notifications on my Fitbit from my iPhone 11

anyone know what might be wrong?

Hi @CMCCOSK - if you pulled down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and turned off all the icons and despite WhatsApp being setup, one of the problems with the new V4 Fitbit App is it can often lose connection, in which case you won't receive any notifications.

Also make sure that when you receive a WhatsApp message, a notification appears on the phone status bar and then before opening it check in the  Fitbit App, Device, Notifications and App notifications that WhatsApp is selected and then sync the watch with the App.

Hi there, @CMCCOSK. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post, we'll be glad to help you to sort the issue with the WhatsApp notifications on your Versa 4 out! 

As @Guy_ has pointed out, since you're setting up WhatsApp notification, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example, tell her to send you a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected. Then do the same with her so she can set up WhatsApp notifications on the watch.

 I’m able to active WhatsApp within the Fitbit app but nothings showing up on the watch

@CMCCOSK - one of the problems with the new V4 Fitbit App is it loses connection and then you won't receive any notifications.

Try restarting both watch and phone and sync and see if this helps temporarily.

I have the same problem! I receive text messages on it but not WhatsApp. I have all notifications etc turned on, all settings as they should be plus good connection but never managed to receive WhatsApp messages at all!

Hi @Bradders76 - have a look at the earlier post by @MarreFitbit , iPhones are a bit special for setting up.
