Can't set up my Versa 4 replacement with my phone

ANSWERED

I got a new fitbit and I've been trying to pair it for days.  I've restarted my phone/ versa 4 a hundred times.  I've turn off my blue tooth and turned it back on. I've deleted the app, added it back.  I have tried everything i've found so far online.   My phone cannot find this new versa 4 to save its life. Is there anything else to try before i return this thing?  I think it may be defective.

Hi there, @KaraDRussow. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your new Versa 4 is not pairing with your phone. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

I agree with @Guy_'s question. In addition to the steps you've tried, please confirm that you've tried the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your old Fitbit device and the new one from your old phone's Bluetooth and the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.

Hi @KaraDRussow - did you try to remove any existing Bluetooth entries for watch from the phone, then in the Fitbit App run the set-up process again?
