Hi @mic98 - it would seem this is a phone issue but try these steps.

Remove all Fitbit watches from your phone's Bluetooth and turn of Bluetooth on any other device where the Fitbit App is running.

If the device shows in the Fitbit App on your phone when you click on the profile photo, remove it.

Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login, click profile photo and click " + Set up a Device" and let it find and install the watch.

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @mic98!

Adding to what @Guy_  has suggested, I'd recommend checking if your phone meets Fitbit's current system requirements, especially because I've seen that you have been using your previous Fitbit device with an iPhone 11 pro max running iOS 13.4.1.

Hi there, @mic98. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 4. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration. We are sorry for the delay in getting back to you over email, we are handling high volume of contacts and waiting responses are taking a bit longer.

Nevertheless, I'd like to confirm if you've tried the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

@Guy_ Thank you so much for your help and advice!
