Can't set up notifications on my Versa 4

On my iPhone Fitbit app, if you go to gallery and scroll down there is a list of items available on my versa 4, if you tap on a box it shows you a picture of what you will see on your device. When I tap on Notifications, no picture shows and yet it states it’s installed but it doesn’t work??

any ideas I’ve gone through all the help sections, my Fitbit is brand new, 2 days old! a replacement for my versa 2 so I am not new to Fitbit. My phone is up to date. But I cannot get notifications on this device??
thanks

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Versa 4. Concerning troubleshooting notifications from your iPhone, you might have a closer look here:

Hi thank you for your post, but I’ve decided that as I only purchased it on Sunday that I am going to return it and get it replaced. If I still have the problem then it must be something to do with my phone settings.  I will let you know.
thx again

Hi there, @M4rie. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with the notifications. @Talahthas Thanks for your help!

I too have an iPhone and had a similar issue a year ago, this is what I tried and worked for me, synced my Versa 3 to make sure all my data was saved and then proceed with uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. With this I was able to set up notifications on my Fitbit app as the notification menu wasn't opening.

I'd suggest trying this before returning it as this might also work for you.

These are all ticked, so I think it must be some setting on my iPhone?
