Can't set up notifications on my new Versa 4

I received my Fitbit yesterday however when I go into the app notifications there is nothing there to choose to select. I want to be able to have my emails come through to my Fitbit not just calls and texts. I have checked my phones permissions and they are correct so I am unsure why the list is not showing in the app notifications. I have deleted apps and done factory settings on Fitbit and still having the same issue.
