Can't turn off DND nor sleep mode on my Versa 4

I am NOT able to turn off do not disturb or turn off sleep mode. Though both should not be able to be on at the same time they are. I have restarted my Fitbit about six times with no change. I have changed my clock face twice with no change. I have adjusted my sleep and wake times in the app with no change. I have synced and unpaired and repaired my phone and my versa 4 twice with no change. My firmware version is 61.20001.210.26

From other posts I've read it seems like my option at this point is to do a factory reset. Is this my only option?

Hi there, @wkeeler. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, for the troubleshooting steps you've tried, and for the image attached. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Since you've exhausted all steps we could've provided here, I'd recommend a factory reset as our last resort. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.

same issue, is there any other methods can be used here other than factory reset? I don’t want to reset it!!!!!!!!!!   😞

After factory reset is works ok. It's a big disappointment the need of factory reset 😡

I have the same issue. It seems like a recent software update screwed things up. You need to push out another update that fixes this issue.

Yes, My Versa 4 did this operation (Continual DND & always on night view but unable to change the settings) after the last software update. Since my data goes to the NIH Study, "All of Us) I don't want to do a factory reset for fear of eliminating the data a researcher is using. I'll wait until the next update. Hopefully, Google FitBit will correct the problem.

Hi @biketourist - data from your watch is uploaded to the servers when you do a successful sync which you should do before the factory reset to resolve the problem (due to a corruption of the operating system)

It's a good idea to note the names of any clocks you use before the factory reset (which requires patience or it may fail) so you can reinstall them again after setting up your watch.

Mine is doing the exact same, but removing all the personal data just to fix it doesn't seem like the right option. It's very frustrating

wow, this actually worked, factory reset and I had to update my watch too.  Finally I was able to take off sleep disturb and I was also finally able to pair the phone call too.  SO THANK YOU!!! I bought versa 4 back in oct before our trip so never got to really use it during the trip but normal usage. Now that we are home, I'll be happy that the functions are working.  Was so frustrated...thanks again.

I had to wait the night out and then turn off DND and then it was fine after that

Yup! I think we'll have to wait until the magicians at Google Fitbit send
out another software update.

I've decided to simply live with the situation since it does not appear to
hinder the data recording on my phone.
