I have searched the forums and it seems that it’s not possible to not off the automatic Bluetooth sync or to turn off the Bluetooth on the Fitbit in general.
Ideally I’d like to be able to turn on Bluetooth just to sync and then turn it back off. It’s very disappointing that such a simple and uncomplicated feature is not available for this expensive product.

Tells how to disconnect on your phone but does not show how to turn off the Bluetooth on a Versa 4.

Hi @Levski @John231 - you can't turn Off Bluetooth on the Versa 4. The only thing you can do is turn Bluetooth Off on the phone, but then notifications won't come to the watch and the time won't get updated.
You will need to remember to turn it on again when you need to sync and set the time.

@Levski Welcome to the Fitbit community!
I like your idea of being able to turn Bluetooth off and on on any Fitbit device, as this could improve battery run time even more, especially if you're exercising without your smart phone nearby.
I'd suggest posting your idea in the Feature Suggestions forum:

Bluetooth is a very weak signal communication and is only used when necessary in order to get decent battery life, so turning it off will make little difference.
There are already feature suggestions dating back to 2015 that are still marked as not currently planned, with good reason.
See this one for example
Ability to disable Bluetooth in restricted areas
