Can you confirm if the heart rate can be turned off on Versa 3 of 4, my husband as Atrial fibrillation. He uses a Fitbit with no heart monitor but wants one with a bigger face but no heart rate on it would go crazy

Hi @SueAbbott - all the Versa 3,Versa 4, Sense and Sense 2 have a permanent HR monitor. However how you use HR may not be the issue that you think. The older ones provide useful features irrespective of HR. On the Versa 2 you can turn off HR but it may not be necessary to do that.

@SueAbbott My husband has been wearing a Fitbit since 2017. He developed atrial fibrillation, was on medication, and eventually had an ablation. The heart rate monitor didn't go crazy. As a matter of fact, his cardiologist used his heart rate information to adjust his medications. I think your concerns are a little unfounded. There is one thing about people with atrial fibrillation, though. Some times he got sleep stages and sometimes not. Generally, you need a regular heart rate for sleep stages.

I have afib. My versa 4 sometimes doesn't track sleep. Never have a problem otherwise.
