Cannot manually add any activity - Versa 4

I recently updated the software on my Versa 4 and now I cannot add any exercise manually.  I tried the workaround to add a different exercise, as the spinning one seemed to be the issue, but even the most popular ones like running and walking will not save.  I enter the required fields and press save and it goes away, nothing is saved.  I have tried multiple days, different exercises, nothing works.  I have tried force quitting the app and restarting my phone, nothing.  I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.  I have tried deleting my Versa 4 from the Fitbit app and adding it back.  I don't know what else to try.  Please help.

Hello @maggierunner this is an issue with the app on the phone, not the Versa 4

Do you get any error messages. I tried with no issue, unless my phone was not connected to the Internet

No error msg, the window closes and the activity doesn't show up.
