Does % Fat get factored into Cardio Fitness Level and is there a way to clear it out?

I rarely get my % fat measured. So I didn't enter it when I entered my weight. One time I got a physical and got my % fat and entered it. Every time I enter my weight now it defaults to that value. Sometimes I remember to set it zero. Sometimes I don't. Since I don't have current measurements, I wish I didn't have to enter it at all.

1. Is there a way to clear it once and for all?

2. Does the % fat have any bearing on my Cardio Fitness Level?

Thank you for help with these questions.

@jrsmith888 you are probably asking in the wrong forum. You posted in the Versa 4 forum (the device isn't released yet) and it would be better if you posted the Android/iOS app forum (depends on which one you have) or GetMoving (as you ask about cardio fitness).

To answer your question, fat% doesn't contribute to your cardio fitness. Cardio Fitness is just Fitbit's name for VO2Max. Nothing to do with fat%.

I'm not sure if you can clear your fat% but if you enter 0% (if it's possible) it should be like that until you decide to change it to something else. This affects body composition though (lean/fat mass etc.) but if you don't care much about those metrics then it should be fine.
