I recently had my Fitbit stolen over the weekend and just wondering why this is not covered in the warranty?
I wouldn't mind if I had lost it but as it was stolen then I thought that might be covered. I had only purchased the watch on 21st of March 2024. And previously had a fitbit versa 2 for 3 years with no issues until the screen went so purchased the new watch.

@Dfol77 manufacturer warranties generally only cover items that are defective in some way and do not perform as expected. That really isn't the case in your situation. If you used a credit card to purchase your Fitbit, you may want to check with the bank to see whether they offer theft protection. I know that my Chase credit card does.

Hi @Dfol77 - in addition your household insurance may cover theft.
But in any case you should chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support, and inform them so they can lock it from use or even track it, if someone tries to use it.
Though the battery will run down and without a charge cable it will be useless.

Cheers guy.
Unfortunately renting at the moment and don't have household insurance. Spoke with an agent in regards to making sure the Versa isn't able to be tracked back to my account.
