Hi,

My fitbit less than 6mths old. I had tried to charge with different cable, charged for 2 hrs and press for 10s.

It still not able to turn on.

Please advise. Or how to claim the warranty.

Hi there @Kirei123

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you so much for letting us know that your Versa 4 is no longer charging and turning on and for all your efforts.

Do the lights on the back  of your Versa 4 blink? Are you still able to sync your Versa 4 with the Fitbit app?

In the meantime, I recommend you try to follow all the troubleshooting steps described in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Hi,

Thank you for further advise. I had tried multiple time to troubleshooting it. Still same result.

There is no back light blinking.

And not able to sync too.

Thanks

You say that the watch is not charging.

  • Have you cleaned the pins?
  • Do you feel a vibration when connecting the charger? If the battery is very dead, you won't feel a vibration.
  • Check the pins on the watch end of the charger cable. Is one of the pins pushed in flat. (a common problem)
  • Sorry fitbit, I suggest going to Amazon and buying a 2 pack of 3rd party cables. I like the cable with USB-C since this is the type of charger I use with my other devices,

Hi,

Appreciated your advice.4 pinss was cleaned with an  erase to remove dirts. The same goes for the charger to check any deform pins.

However, there was no vibration when the watch was attached to the charger and tried out a different adapter.

Thanks

Whose advice are you waiting for?

Have you checked to see if one of the pins on the charging cord is pressed in? Have you checked using a different charge cord?

You are not looking for a deformed pin, but a pin that doesn't stick out as far. If your tracker is dead, it might take an hour on a working charge cord before any life is noticed.

The first thing I do after getting a Fitbit is to go on Amazon and order 2, not made by Fitbit, charging cables . Especially if it is a cable like the one you have, because the one pin on your cable is known to get jammed and trashed the cable.
