I hope the Fitbit administrators see and forward this information as needed. I attempted to migrate to the Apple Watch and Apple health ecosystem after 10 years with the Fitbit app. Have enjoyed five Fitbit devices as well as the aria scale. Have been dutifully logging 10+ years of data. The Fitbit app as an all-around comprehensive health tracking tool is far superior than anything in Apple health, and I have happily returned. I have utilized almost all areas of the Fitbit app: food tracking, water, sleep, exercise, mindfulness, and weight tracking.
The Apple ecosystem foolishly blows all these components apart into separate apps you must download and pay for. The user interface for the apps is kluge, the Apple Watch hardware does not hold nearly a charge as well as the versa 4. so I have returned because I missed my one stop shop app that tracked all my data with overall scores so I had the good all-around picture of where I was from a health standpoint day after day.
Thank you, Fitbit. Please keep the good work up and I know that the Google hardware is coming to replace the Fitbit hardware, but I hope that the user experience in the app will continue throughout. as I am An avid user of it have been and will continue to be so long as the quality of the app remains as it is. Thank you!
