I thought I would use my Fitbit with my tablet and I transferred my account to google. I decided I didn't want it on my tablet so I deleted the app. When I went to sign in on my phone, it told me I had to use my google account. I would like to use the fitbit sign in and not google. How can I fix this?

Hi @mercy0065 unfortunately once you switch to a Google account you cannot go back to using the Fitbit account.

An so this is another good reason not to switch yet. I fear that using a Google Sign in which I have a Google account will no longer be seamless and I will lose functions, data, and other things I like. The no go back in bugging me. Why not we got to 2025 to switch

Thanks for the Q and As @odyssey.. Today I automatically log in on my laptop and large display and my (transferpage) dashboard automatically (auto sign in) displays.
I log in all food intake on the laptop and can easily see whats going on during the day. Don't use the phone that much but look at stats as to SPO2 and health metrics.
So instead of going to Fitbit.com I will be going to Google.com and I fear all the get functionally I gain over the past 10 years will be gone and sooner or later it will be.
I also use the Windows App with my Versa 4 which is no longer supported or even available.
If going to Google.com still supports the same sign in displays I will consider moving sooner?

When signing on with you Google account, you will still go to fitbit.com. You should not loose any function.
We also are able to use the dashboard on Fitbit.com, however, this too is no longer supported

See if you can make a new Fitbit account. Though your stats won't be there. Start again. Then delete the Google account.
