GPS works fine when using exercise mode for running or cycling but doesn’t connect for walking on my versa 4. When I swipe right to bring up the exercise choices and choose cycling or running the GPS connecting icon immediately comes up. However, when I choose walking I get no GPS connecting icon. On completion of the walk I will get the stats on y Fitbit App but obviously no map.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to solve it?
The Fitbit is fully charged, I’m in an area where there is a good signal, Fitbit syncs fine with my phone, Fitbit app is fully updated, Fitbit is only a few months old.

Hello @Srhmcl and welcome to the Community. Please check the GPS settings in the Walk shortcut itself. Some users reported that the GPS is toggled to Off in the Walk shortcut by default.
While you are looking at the settings, notice that the Versa 4 has a Walk Detect feature, similar to the Run Detect on previous models. If you start walking without the Exercise app, your Versa 4 will vibrate and start the Exercise app. This is On by default. I turned this off -- it takes more than seven minutes for my Sense 2 to detect a walk. I don't think this feature is very useful. Walk detect is different from SmartTrack, the auto recognition program you are used to.

I am having this same problem with my Versa 4. I can’t find a toggle switch to turn on in the area mentioned. Is there a different spot?
