GPS works for a run but not for a walk

Hi there!

So when I select run on my versa 4, it maps my run route as well as all other stats. However now when I walk it only gives me stats and no map. 

Ive tried to search help etc but cant find anything relevant. When it’s on auto it says gps won’t be switched on but I’ve no way of changing that. And this happens even when it’s not auto recognising the walk but I’m actually selecting it. 

Also my location services are set to always on.

Any ideas please?

On Sense 2 GPS was disables for Walk so I believe it is on Versa 4. Go to Exercise tile (not exercise shortcuts tile) and select Walk, swipe up for Walk settings, turn GPS on. Should help.

Thanks for replying but I dont have that option. When I go to exercise tile and swipe I just go to the bottom of my list of exercise done. Unless I’m in the wrong place but can’t see anything else obvious.

Sorry, worked out now you mean on the versa 🤦🏼‍:female_sign:! Not used to having so much functionality on the actual watch. Sorted now. Thank you.
