Google Messages stopped coming through my Versa 4

My Google Messages randomly stopped coming through to my Versa 4 a few weeks ago. Did all the things that should work, but no success. Out of nowhere, I started getting my notifications again.  Then, last week they stopped coming through again.  Again, I've done all the things, but nothing works.  Phone calls nd other notifications all work. Just not Google Messages. Seems like a compatibility issue??

Hi there, @LauriPott. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 stopped receiving Google Messages. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

In addition to the steps you've done, from the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon, your device. Tap Notifications, then choose Text Messages. The blue bubble for messages should be checked. Once all this has been completed, please restart your phone.

I did all the things on my phone app that were possible to do. I finally
shut down the actual FitBit device and restarted it. That seemed to do the
trick.
